Duties and Responsibilities
The Team Leader is responsible for all operational aspects of an assigned shift
or shifts. Working with the Transportation section Manager plans and directs all management functions related to staff, safety, productivity, and deadline performance. Assists in the Supervision of Drivers, Dispatchers, as well as entry level Staffers. Supports the Department Manager by monitoring budgetary goals, employee relations and adherence to company and departmental policies. Reinforces continual improvement and creates a positive environment for staff and process development. 

Must demonstrate strong ability to work in a team environment. Excellent oral and written communication a must, as is working with a diverse group of staffers. Has proven ability to lead a team, in a deadline environment, while developing staff and processes. Demonstrates strong analytical and organizational skills. Demonstrate strong leadership skills that promote an attitude that leads to an engaged and energized environment.  Computer literate and able to use standard software packages. Knowledge of distribution and DOT regulations is a plus.

This is a Full Time night shift opportunity.  Hours are typically 7:00 pm to 3:00 am.
