UI/UX Developer and Designer

The Role
We are looking for a front-end developer who combines clean design ideas with advanced UI/UX practices. You will work on a fast-paced scrum team, turning customer requests to completed products using a wide variety of open source and proprietary technologies, and third-party APIs. The position will be located at our office in downtown St. Petersburg, FL.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely every day with other team members and stakeholders in an Agile environment
  • Take a new brand or product from concept to completed product in cooperation with internal and external customers
  • Design the look and feel of new features while maintaining consistency with existing brands
  • Develop new front-end integrations to back-end code and various APIs.
  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use
  • Ability to generate modern, attractive and effective designs that meet the needs of users and stakeholders
  • Proficient in mobile-first, browser-friendly web development using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (jQuery) and AJAX
  • Proficient with code versioning tools like SVN and Git
  • Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as SASS
  • The desire to stay ahead of the ever-shifting front-end technology curve through consistent study and practice
Education and/or Experience
  • Basic understanding of SEO/SEM best practices
  • Understanding of Google Analytics and Search Console
  • Experience with Django
  • Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue)
  • Experience in Agile process
  • Rapid prototyping skills
  • Basic understanding of email templating design and requirements
  • Passions in any number of technological nooks, crannies or oddities
